It is honestly not as soon as we would have liked to, but we are leaving August 19th for Hong Kong. We will spend a couple of days there exploring and touring, then we will board a train to Guangzhou on August 22. Monday August 23rd Tessa JiXing will join our family forever!! Our consulate appointment is September 1st and then we will return home to Kansas on September 4th.
RaeAnne and ZoraLin will be traveling with me while Jordis Li and Kendalan stay home with Daddy and start school on August 31st.
We have been looking at her photos now since December and finally we will get her in August!!

Congratulations!!! Gracious that IS SO CLOSE!!!! I would pay about a million dollars for some photos of a couple of certain someone's!! Are you going to try and visit the foster home or just the orphanage? Will they let us visit the home?! Do tell! Do tell!! Can't wait to follow your journey!!!!!
Sounds wonderful...you are about 4 weeks faster than I was when I adopted Jami in 2006. Saw her in early Dec & we came home on Oct 1.

Bunk beds are the worst! This is what we do Each child has a chamois duvet from PB kids with a polyester filling in it. They are so soft and comfortable! No top sheet! We fluff and pull and were done making the bed- they all do it themselves!! We have already taken off the cute quilts! We have a few pillows and stuffed animals for decoration!!
